Selah

“pause and reflect”

This is a word used throughout the Psalms to indicate a pause in music (The psalms are songs!).  A time to pause and think about what was being said.  Selah is an event created for just that.  Pausing and reflecting.  This event was created out of the desire to see young girls finding peace, rest, contentment, and joy in the person of Jesus.  This event was created to teach girls who are on the brink of adulthood how to live for the glory of God and how to find their identity in Him and not in the things the world deems important.  At Selah you will be able to dive into scripture and learn more about God.  You’ll be able to discuss real life problems with real life women who have been in your shoes.  It’ll be a place where you can rest and reflect on the goodness of Christ.  It’ll be a day where you can come and stand in awe of the presence of God and leave changed.  It’ll be a time to pause and reflect and allow the life of Jesus Christ to change the way you live.
