THE SPEAKERS

We are thrilled about the women who are investing their time, energy, and wisdom into Selah.  This page will be updated with more information about speakers as the event nears!

Nicole, the creator of Selah.

Nicole’s bible study group of high school girls has changed her life.  She feels a strong connection to this age group and has a desire to use her story to share the gospel with young girls.  She loves Jesus, her husband, her pups, and her sweet community.  She has a strong passion for high school girls and a longing to see them find their contentment in Jesus Christ.

Gretchen gives a fashion presentation about the purpose of fashion with great tips for dressing, and how to dress for the glory of God!

Gretchen Saffles, is first a follower of Jesus and lover of His creation. She is married to her best friend, Greg, and they live in the beautiful Knoxville, Tennessee. She is a firm believer in God-sized love stories that magnify the glory of Christ and the church. Her passion in life is to teach women that they weren’t meant to live mediocre, mundane lives centered around themselves, but to live abundantly for Jesus!  She began Life Lived Beautifully, a ministry to inspire women to live their lives for the glory of the Gospel of Jesus Christ that fills us up to overflow onto the world around us. She created the “Give Me Jesus” journal to encourage women to fall in love with Jesus through His Word. She loves drinking coffee with friends, exploring God’s creation and adventuring the world in the name of Jesus. The more she learns that life isn’t about her, but about making much of Jesus, the more she understands the beauty of the Gospel. More of Him, less of her. That is what a life lived beautifully is all about.

Caroline

For the glory of God.
I'm a believer. A lover of the Word. I crave to know and understand what God is teaching me. I crave the innermost space where He reveals deep and hidden things to me. I am redeemed. I am still a crazy mess, but His work in me is GOOD and it is for His glory alone.
1 Corinthians 10:31
“So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God”
Isaiah 58:8 Amplified Bible
“Then shall your light break forth like the morning, and your healing (your restoration and the power of a new life) shall spring forth speedily; your righteousness (your rightness, your justice, and your right relationship with God) shall go before you [conducting you to peace and prosperity], and the glory of the Lord shall be your rear guard”
